Improved in Every Way

Every part of Tokusetsu has been upgraded from the ground up.

I don't know much about design and always struggled with color choices, so having them auto-extracted from my cover art is genuinely the best. The customization not being too open-ended actually works in my favor, and with all the themes and presets on offer, it's a huge help.

Reku Mochizuki@RekuMczk

I used to spend most of my time just getting the basics in place. With Tokusetsu 5, I actually have room to think about what would suit this particular release.

kooridori@kooridori_HF

It has everything I've ever wanted, and honestly it's beyond what I expected. Since you can export it, I can upload it to my own server, which means I get to use the custom domain I already own.

utzbo@utzzbo

Every request I ever had was addressed, and then some. I want to rebuild my older sites with this.

yukina@yuzyuz_x

It takes the best of Tokusetsu 3 and 4 and adds even more polish and flexibility on top. Small updates, like adding a distributor link after an event, are easier than ever.

Ray_Oh@r_0_UMA

All the things I used to worry about just disappeared! I honestly didn't expect it to do this much.

hu-zin@yasukei23916

All I can say is wow. I used to think "this looks off on my phone" sometimes, but now I can switch between desktop and mobile preview instantly and check the result right there.

otoshi.b@0t58t

I used to find updating after launch such a hassle that I'd skip adding anything new. With Tokusetsu 5, updating in one click is the best. All you need is your images and the site is done, and it covers all the little things I'd itch for. I was blown away.

大宮水那瀬@omiyaminase

Making a site for my releases used to be a long struggle because I didn't have the know-how. With Tokusetsu 5, I had a gorgeous site up in no time. That let me get the promo and the crossfade out way ahead of schedule.

FAQ

What is Tokusetsu 5?

Tokusetsu 5 is a desktop app that makes it easy to build a release announcement site for independent music. Just fill in a form, and you'll have a site that captures the feel of your work.

How is Tokusetsu 5 different from other website builders?

General-purpose website builders give you a lot of freedom, but that often means more time spent figuring out where to start. Tokusetsu 5 is built specifically for independent music releases, so even first-time users can put together a site without missing a beat.

Do I need any web design knowledge?

No, none at all.

Can I customize it?

There are plenty of options for adjusting colors, fonts, animations, and more. If you want to go even further, you can edit the exported HTML and build something entirely your own.

Can I get technical support?

Feel free to reach out if you run into questions during setup or use. That said, some requests may be outside what I can support, such as custom edits to a theme's code.

How many computers can I install it on?

As long as you're the one using it, you can install it on as many computers as you like, there's no limit. You just can't lend or transfer the software to someone else.

What happens to Tokusetsu 3 and 4?

You can keep using them for free, just like before.

Why did you make this software?

I've spent years developing Tokusetsu with one goal: making it as easy as possible to build a release announcement site for independent music. After dozens of interviews with musicians, two things kept coming up: there's never enough time before an event, and it's hard just to get people to listen, so they want their release to look as polished as the work itself. That's what led me to build Tokusetsu 5.

Who made this?

Hi, I'm sanographix. I build practical tools like Tokusetsu as a hobby, the kind that solve real, everyday problems for creators. You can find my profile here.
